USA Poker Academy’s Thursday Poker Lab takes over the Historic Lobo Theater every Thursday night — and it’s 100% free. No ticket, no cover, no buy-in. Whether you’ve never held a hand of cards or you’re sharpening your tournament game, our coaches teach you Texas Hold’em as you play in a relaxed, beginner-friendly room.

This isn’t a casino — it’s a poker learning center and community. Come learn the game, meet local players, and become part of Albuquerque’s fastest-growing poker scene.

Know before you go

• 21+ only — valid government-issued photo ID required.
• Always free — no buy-in, no ticket. Just show up. (Yes, free. We’ll say it twice.)
• No outside food or drinks — including water bottles and outside beverages.
• Food & drinks available for purchase from the Lobo’s full menu and bar.
