The guest list that night became legend\, and the film that followed made The Last Waltz the most famous farewell in rock. \nThat combination — a concert that fed people first — is why bands and cities across the country now stage The Last Waltz around Thanksgiving as a fundraiser. The Next Waltz is Albuquerque’s. \nFour Years\, More Than a Ton of Food\nTony Orant moved to the Albuquerque area twelve years ago and was struck by the need he saw here and across the country to support local food banks. A professional musician\, he knew he would eventually be able to help through music. \nThis is the fourth year Tony O and The Greatest Band Ever have performed The Last Waltz at the Historic Lobo Theater.
